We understand that different sectors (such as healthcare, education, support work and security) may require additional checks, and we encourage employers to carry out sector-specific compliance requirements.
- Right to Work
We support the importance of lawful employment and may ask candidates to confirm they have the Right to Work in the UK. Employers remain responsible for ensuring that statutory Right to Work checks are completed in line with legal requirements.
- Safeguarding and vulnerability
Through Uniworld Pathways, we may support individuals who have experienced barriers such as exploitation, financial exclusion, justice involvement or previous homelessness. We aim to take a trauma-informed and respectful approach while promoting safe placements.
Where safeguarding concerns arise, we take them seriously and respond appropriately.

Employers engaging our services are responsible for:
- providing a safe working environment
- appropriate supervision and training
- role-specific safeguarding and regulatory checks (including DBS where required)
- policies and risk assessments where applicable
- Zero tolerance approach
Uniworld UK Group Ltd has zero tolerance for:
- exploitation
- forced labour
- modern slavery
- discrimination or harassment
- unsafe working practices
Any concerns raised will be treated seriously and reviewed appropriately.
