Uniworld UK Group Ltd is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk. We recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and we take all concerns seriously.

This safeguarding summary applies to all our work, including Uniworld Pathways programmes, recruitment services, referrals and partnerships.

Safeguarding concerns may include:

  • emotional or psychological abuse
  • sexual abuse
  • financial abuse
  • neglect
  • domestic abuse
  • exploitation, including modern slavery
  • bullying, harassment or discrimination

We may:

  • take appropriate immediate steps to reduce risk
  • refer to relevant safeguarding authorities or agencies where required
  • liaise with partner services in line with confidentiality and legal obligations

We will take concerns seriously and respond in a respectful, trauma-informed manner.

Safeguarding information is handled carefully and only shared when necessary, including where there is a risk of harm or legal duty to disclose.
